This projector can project up to 4k UHD resolution. That does not mean this projector is a native 4k projector.

Optoma CinemaX P2 (Amazon) uses pixel-shifting technology to project the 4k image.

Which is near the real 4k projection. Normal people will not be able to recognize it. It is native 4k or pixel shifting.

Watching movies on this projector will be fun. Without any doubt. And there is no need to worry about the brightness.

Because P2 has 3000 lumens. Which is enough for the ultra-short throw projector.

If you are planning to play some video games on this projector. You can play by connecting your PS4 or 5 with your projector.

Which I generally do not notice in the 1080P projector.
